(29) But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered what kind of salutation this might be. (30) The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Maryam, for you have found favour with Allah. (31) Behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and will call his name 'Isa. (32) He will be great, and will be called Ibn al-'Ali.[2] Allah Ta'ala will give him the throne of his father, Dawud, (33) and he will reign over the house of Yaqub forever. There will be no end to his kingdom." (34) Maryam said to the angel, "How can this be, seeing I am a virgin?" (35) The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called Ibn Allah. Versi Al Quran (Terjemahan oleh Yusuf Ali):

(42) Behold! The angels said: "O Mary! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee;―chosen thee above the women of all nations (43) "O Mary! worship thy Lord devoutly; prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down." (44) This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Prophet!) by inspiration; thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary; nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point). (45) Behold! the angels said "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Isa, the son of Mary held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah. (46) "He shall speak to the people in childhood And in maturity and he shall be (of the company) of the righteous." (47) She said: "O my Lord! how shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth; when He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it `Be', and it is! (Al Quran, Ali Imraan)

Kitab mereka:

"...Mariam berkata kepada malaikat, bagaimana hal itu mungkin berlaku, sedangkan aku masih dara? Jawab malaikat kepadanya Roh Kudus akan datang kepadamu dan kuasa Yang Maha Tinggi akan menaungi engkau, jadi dia juga akan dipanggil Bin Allah" (Luke 1: 34-35)

Al Quran Al Karim:

"Maryam berkata:” Wahai Tuhanku! Bagaimanakah aku akan beroleh seorang anak, padahal aku tidak pernah disentuh oleh seorang lelaki pun?” Allah berfirman; “Demikianlah keadaannya, Allah menjadikan apa yang dikehendakiNya; apabila Ia berkehendak melaksanakan sesuatu perkara, maka Ia hanyalah berfirman kepadanya: ` Jadilah engkau, lalu menjadilah ia.”
